Short Bio
After graduating from James Madison University in 2009, I accepted an elementary art teaching position on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I instantly fell in love with the beautiful surroundings, the easy-going lifestyle, and also with a local fisherman. After four years of teaching, I temporarily left the Shore and returned to James Madison University for a Masters program in Art Education as a full-time Graduate Assistant. I recently completed my thesis project on using interactive technology for museum experiences, and received an M.A. in Art Education. I just finished my first year as the visual arts instructor at Nandua Middle School in Accomack County. So far, it is my dream job.
I recently created an extension of this site for my students at NMS. To visit that site, simply click on the link below.
